The location is convenient. There is limited street parking. You can grab a pastry or sweet treat. The pizza is yummy. There are also fresh breads.

Forever consistent throughout the years. The best for loose teas. They have 5 options of green teas. My favorite is mango green tea. It's so divine and fresh. The tea pot it's large enough to share with two people. Great price point! By myself, I can pour at least 4-5 small cups. Great food options from sandwiches and they even sell pizza. My guilty pleasure is the red velvet cupcakes and red velvet slices. So fresh and homemade.

Came here and there was a lot of seating available which is always nice. Horchata milk - it tasted like a nut based milk so I might've not know it wasn't the traditional horchata. It had a very strong almond taste. Cheesy Short Rib Grits - the short rib was very tender and seasoned well. The sourdough bread was toasted but on the bottom side, it was soggy. It had only been maybe 3 minutes from getting the sandwich to eating it in the car so I was a little disappointed. Curry Chicken Salad - the chicken was chunky and tender. The curry flavor was a little more subtle than I expected so I wish the curry flavor was stronger. It would've nice if the sourdough was toasted.

I truly can't wait to come back here. We stopped by here because a friend wanted to grab some coffee and a little bit of a late breakfast, and the spot totally exceeded our expectations. They had a really great variety of foods and baked goods. It was around 11:30 AM, so I decided I wanted a dessert so I ended up getting the Karen's birthday cake, cupcake, and sharing it with a friend. Honestly, it was so delicious! This place definitely gives the type of vibe where you would bring your computer and do some homework, but also come in and chill with your friends in the interesting seating arrangements they have around the...bakery? Restaurant? I'm actually not sure what you would consider it, because they serve a decent amount of food. Let's call it a Bakerrant. This place had a decently long line and I could see why. I can't wait to come back to DC and visit this spot!

I have been a regular patron of A Baked Joint for quite some time now, and each visit has been nothing short of excellent. One of my go-to orders is the Biscuit Sammie (goat cheese, herbs and a fried egg) priced at $7, paired with a cappuccino for $4.50. The combination of flavors in this sandwich is simply divine, and I always find myself craving it. On weekends, l indulge in the crème Brûlée French Toast, accompanied by fresh fruit and thick applewood smoked bacon $16. This dish is a true treat for the taste buds, with the perfect balance of sweetness and savory goodness. It never fails to satisfy my cravings. I would also like to give a shoutout to Louis, who always takes my order with a smile. His friendly and welcoming demeanor adds to the overall positive experience. Moreover, A Baked Joint's casual and cozy atmosphere makes it a trendy spot to relax and unwind, while eating delicious food. The fact that they make their own bread adds an extra level of authenticity to their offerings.

Came here around 2:30 pm on a Sunday. The inside is very cute and modern. There's industrial architecture but the ceilings are so high and front windows are so big that there is a lot of natural light. Of course as you move farther back into the restaurant, it gets darker and there were many individuals working quietly. However the big table by the front had a large and loud group, so I think this place works great for both working independently (it is a cafe after all) and for socializing. There wasn't much of a line, and it was nice that their sweet treats were in display. I also liked their assortment of tinned seafood and olive oils! The place I known for their bread and their sister restaurant is Baked & Wired in Georgetown. I decided to get the house made horchata and the griddle short rib Sammie. The employee taking my order discovered that they were out of horchata so I decided to get the house made nut milk instead (I think it was pecan w/ other flavors). I was a little disappointed in the drink. It didn't have much other flavor, just tasted like a plain nut milk. I probably would have liked the horchata more. The sandwich was really yummy! Although a bit heavy, the sweet and savory onions went well with the crunchy bread and moist short rib. I would be willing to try their other items on the menu. Not a bad place to stop by. Very cute inside and seems like a popular spot to work or meet up. Would come again if I was nearby.
